The St. Vincent de Paul Society would like to thank our generous parishioners for your donations in the recent August 30, 2026 second collection. This collection provides the bulk of the resources needed for the out reach to help the less fortunate in our neighborhoods of Penn Hills, Monroeville, and Pitcairn. We are most grateful for your continuing support. The collection amounted to $5525 and is most appreciated. Since our last collection, the Society provided assistance with: food, $150 helping 6 friends in need; shelter, $2700 helping 15; furniture, $854 helping 34; utilities, $9511 helping 70; and appliances, $510 helping 3 friends in need. Your helping hand allows us to prevent utility shutoffs and evictions as well as providing a new mother with a washer and dryer. We couldn’t provide this neighborhood assistance without you.
