WHO: We are an organization of volunteer women who minister to the needy, the sick and the shut-ins of the parish inspired by the life and examples of St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Louise de Marillac.
WHAT: Our mission is to provide physical, emotional, spiritual aid comforting those in need, particularly the elderly and the poor. Our ministries include social visits with shut-ins (or a phone call), praying the rosary at nursing homes, seasonal food drives. We also participate in the Patriotic Rosary, Mary’s Way of the Cross, and the Giving Tree.
(WHERE) GOALS: To meet our goals is to actively pursue the practice of the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. While our activities primarily focus on the members of our parish, we extend assistance to anyone in times of emergency.
WHEN AND HOW: When and wherever a need is found rendering appropriate assistance: offering our prayers, visiting funeral homes and funeral masses to support the grieving family.
WHAT TO DO NEXT: If you are interested in finding out if we are a good fit for you, speak with one of us at one of the following Masses:
Saturday, February 8th at St. Susanna 5PM
We have the desire to serve those in need. Our mission, our goals and our spirit are bound together by our prayer life remembering that whatever we do for the least of His children we do for Him.
