The Seder Meal is a beautiful way to remember the Jewish roots of Christianity and to enter into Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum. The Seder Meal is the Jewish remembrance of the Exodus from Egypt. The angel of death passed over the houses of the Jewish people since their wooden doorposts were marked with the blood of the passover lamb. This is a foreshadowing of Jesus, the new Passover Lamb, who died with his blood on the wooden cross. This event is represented at every Mass throughout the world.
