Will you serve our parish community as an Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)? We need assistance distributing Holy Communion at Mass and, especially in our nursing homes and institutions with the departure of Fr. Gruber on 7/1. You can help bring the hope and comfort of our Eucharist Lord to those in most need!
Training and certification is required for both new and existing EMCHs per Diocesan policy. Sessions will be held at both sites on the following dates:
Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30 PM - St. Susanna
Thursday, August 7th at 6:30 PM - St. Bernadette
Saturday, August 9th at 9:30 AM - St. Susanna

Each session will begin with prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament followed by the training which will focus on the theology & ministry of the Mass, the spirituality of the minister, and procedures specific to Christ the Divine Shepherd parish. You only need to attend one session.
